A Kenmore washer at a home on East High Street in Uhrichsville, OH had been having trouble with the lid not closing all the way, and then came to a complete stop with a snapping sound and a full tub of water. Samuel visited the home on March 25, 2020, found that the lid switch had failed, and replaced it with part WP8318084 to get the washer running correctly again.
The Problem
The lid wasn’t closing all the way. Then it just dropped but there was a snapping sound and everything stopped with the washer full of water. The clothes are currently out but the water is still in it.
The Repair
The lid switch had failed. I replaced it and the washer is working correctly. Also added a 20% discount. Thanks for the business.
