Repair record › Frigidaire dryers
We've repaired 14 Frigidaire dryers for this problem between September 2018 and November 2021. This is what was actually wrong, counted from our own job records.
Of the 14 Frigidaire dryers we've repaired for "not heating", the most common cause was: heating element burned out (8 jobs, 57%), followed by gas valve coils failed (2). The parts we replaced most often were heating element, gas valve coils, timer.
Seen once each: timer failed, blower wheel broken, dryer vent clogged, main control board failed.
One repair can replace more than one part, so these add up to more than the number of jobs.
Most of these jobs showed no code at all; the customer just noticed the problem.
