Whirlpool dishwasher (WDT730PAHZ0) — North Canton, OH

Reported: The dishwasher will not run. It says that it’s running but the water is not going into the parts to spin. The customer’s dad looked at it and said that there is water going into the dishwasher but it seems to just be a small amount and sit at the bottom of the dishwasher.

Diagnosis: The water circulation pump had failed. While the dishwasher was receiving some water, the pump wasn’t functioning to circulate it through the spray arms and wash system, leaving water sitting stagnant at the bottom of the tub.

Whirlpool washer (WTW7500GC2) — Canton, OH

Reported: The customer reported that their Whirlpool washer won’t fill up when the lid is locked. This prevented the normal wash cycle from starting properly.

Diagnosis: The washer was displaying error codes F7E9 and F2E1. The main control board appears to be faulty and is not currently available. Also possible that the bearings are bad in the machine, but I’m unable to test it with the control board being faulty.

Whirlpool washer (RTW4516FW2) — Alliance, OH

Reported: The washer doesn’t go past the wash cycle it washes and then drains and then blinks on the wash cycle it doesn’t spin them so I ring the clothes out by hand and put them in the dryer. Since the problem started, occasionally it will complete a full cycle if I’m lucky, but most of the time it does what I described above.

Diagnosis: The diagnostic revealed an F5E1 error code, which indicates a lid lock assembly failure. The faulty lid lock prevented the washer from advancing to the spin cycle, as the control board couldn’t verify the lid was properly secured.

Diagnosis: Opening up the Whirlpool LER7620LG0 revealed a broken drive belt and worn pulley components. When the belt fails, the drum loses its connection to the motor — explaining why the motor ran but the drum wouldn’t turn. Diagnosis: Upon inspection of the approximately 13-year-old Samsung DW80F600UTB, we determined the parts needed to repair the drainage and rinsing issues were no longer available from Samsung. This is common with older dishwasher models where critical components are discontinued.
