Reported: The customer reported their Samsung RF4287hars/xaa refrigerator was maintaining a temperature of 59 degrees, well above safe food storage levels. The cooling fan wasn’t running, which explained the poor temperature control.

Diagnosis: This was a return visit for the same issue. Upon inspection, we found the fan hitting ice that had formed in the evaporator area. Everything else in the cooling system looked good, but the ice buildup was preventing proper air circulation and fan operation.

Diagnosis: Testing revealed the clutch on the transmission had failed. This component engages the basket to spin during the wash and spin cycles. When it wears out, the washer will fill and agitate but won’t spin out the water.
