Speed queen dryer (ADGE9RYS118TW01) — Doylestown, OH

Speed queen dryer (ADGE9RYS118TW01) — Doylestown, OH

Reported: Blue nob inside dryer came off last night while washing clothes. I was told by Dalys Appliance this is where the water line would normally hook up. We dont have a water line. The dryer then showed an error message and I had to shut off the machine and turn back on to remove the error message. The dryer seemed to be hot afterwards and the room had steam. I couldn’t select Regular dry. I had to select Permanent Press. This is a brand new dryer.

Speed queen dryer (ADG30RGS111TW01) — Homeworth, OH

Speed queen dryer (ADG30RGS111TW01) — Homeworth, OH

Reported: The customer reported the dryer was not heating at all. The Speed Queen dryer (model ADG30RGS111TW01) had been moved recently, and no heat meant no drying. A no-heat complaint on a gas dryer points to several possibilities — but in this case, the answer was outside the machine entirely.

Diagnosis: The dryer had been moved and the gas line was not reconnected afterward. No gas supply, no heat — that’s the whole story. No component failure, no wiring issue, no igniter problem. The dryer itself was fine.

Repair: Work: Reconnected gas line; performed leak test on the connection · Parts: None · Result: Leak test passed — dryer is good to go

Frigidaire refrigerator (LFSS2612TE0) — Louisville, OH

Frigidaire refrigerator (LFSS2612TE0) — Louisville, OH

Reported: The freezer side was not cold enough to freeze food. The fridge side was maintaining temperature. The unit was running constantly without cycling off. On a side-by-side like the LFSS2612TE0, that combination — one side cold, one side not, compressor running nonstop — points toward either a refrigerant or airflow issue, and the diagnosis confirmed which one.

Diagnosis: Temperatures read 21°F in the freezer and 42°F in the fridge. The defrost thermostat was closed. The compressor, condenser fan, and evaporator fans were all running. The condenser was not obstructed. What Samuel found was oil and refrigerant seepage coming from the filter dryer, combined with extensive corrosion throughout the unit caused by sulfur. This unit is not economically repairable.

Repair: Work: Full diagnosis performed. Oil/refrigerant seepage identified at the filter dryer. Extensive sulfur corrosion confirmed throughout the unit. Customer advised the refrigerator is not economically repairable and will replace the unit. · Parts: None · Result: Customer informed of findings and advised that any new refrigerator installed in this location will need to have the lines coated to slow the sulfur corrosion.

Frigidaire dryer (FAQE7077KW0) — Louisville, OH

Frigidaire dryer (FAQE7077KW0) — Louisville, OH

Reported: The customer reported the dryer door was not staying shut. A dryer won’t run safely — or at all — with a door that won’t latch, so this wasn’t something that could be ignored for long.

Diagnosis: The door strike catch on the front panel of the dryer was broken. This is the small plastic component that the door latch hooks into when you close the door. When it breaks, the door has nothing to catch on and won’t hold shut.

Repair: Work: Replaced the broken door strike catch on the front panel of the dryer · Parts: Door strike catch (front panel) · Result: Dryer door latches and holds shut — dryer is good to go

Whirlpool refrigerator (WRF736SDAM12) — Louisville, OH

Whirlpool refrigerator (WRF736SDAM12) — Louisville, OH

Maytag washer (MVWC415EW1) — Paris, OH

Maytag washer (MVWC415EW1) — Paris, OH

Reported: The washer started making noises and then stopped spinning. On diagnosis, it threw an F8E1 fault code — No Fill / Long Fill — meaning the machine wasn’t getting adequate water flow to operate normally.

Diagnosis: The water valve screen was plugged with softener resin. The customer had recently had a new water softener installed, but it had been hooked up backwards. With the softener plumbed in reverse, resin was flowing throughout the house — not just to the washer. Her water valves to her sinks were obstructed as well. This was a whole-house plumbing problem caused by the incorrect softener installation, not a washer component failure.

Repair: Work: Set the softener to bypass. Flushed the line to the washing machine. Unit successfully passed a calibration cycle. · Parts: None · Result: Washer is good to go. Customer will need to reach out to the water softener company to repair and correct the install, and to flush the waterlines and water heater throughout the house.

GE range (JB256RTSS) — Sherrodsville, OH

Reported: Burner #21 doesn’t turn down. Oven takes longer than normal to preheat.

Whirlpool dishwasher (WDT750SAHZ0) — Uniontown, OH

Whirlpool dishwasher (WDT750SAHZ0) — Uniontown, OH

Reported: The customer reported that the lights would not turn off and the dishwasher would not wash again. The machine appeared stuck with lights flashing and audible beeping.

Diagnosis: Samuel found the dishwasher paused with the control lock on. The flashing lights and beeping were the unit’s way of signaling that the control lock was active — not a component failure.

Repair: Work: Turned the control lock off, cancelled the active cycle, and started a new cycle. · Parts: None · Result: Dishwasher ran a full new cycle successfully. Good to go.
