Reported: The customer reported water leaking into the bottom of fridge under the pull out deli tray. This type of water accumulation typically indicates drainage problems within the refrigerator’s defrost system.

Diagnosis: We found the defrost drain in the fridge was completely plugged, preventing proper water drainage during the defrost cycle. Additionally, the ice maker needed Y-clips installed to prevent frosting that could contribute to drainage issues.

Repair: Work: Cleared the plugged defrost drain in the fridge and installed Y-clips on the ice maker to prevent frosting · Parts: DA82-01415A Water Leakage Assembly, DA82-02367A Y-Clip Assembly · Result: Water drainage restored to normal operation

Diagnosis: The intermittent symptoms pointed to failing control electronics that had now completely shut down. When electrical components start cycling on and off randomly before dying entirely, it typically indicates deteriorating circuit boards that can no longer maintain stable power distribution to the dishwasher’s systems.

Reported: The customer called because their refrigerator wasn’t cooling. This was particularly concerning since we had just changed the board less than two weeks prior. The cooling issue happened twice over the weekend, though the unit would resume normal operation after pressing the setting button and waiting a few minutes.

Diagnosis: Given the recent board replacement and the intermittent nature of the problem, we suspected a defective replacement part rather than a new failure mode. The fact that cycling the controls would temporarily restore function pointed to the jazz board we’d recently installed.

Repair: Work: Replaced jazz board and swapped it out under warranty · Parts: Jazz board (warranty replacement) · Result: Unit restored to proper cooling operation
