Louisville Appliance Repair recently completed a refrigerator repair for a customer on Militia Hill Street Northwest in Canton, OH. The GE refrigerator, model GFE29HMEIES, had a dispenser control panel that stopped working, beginning with a broken water tab and progressing to a fully non-functional display. Samuel visited the home, replaced the failed front panel and UI board, and the refrigerator returned to normal operation.
The Problem
Refrigerator dispenser control panel not working…started with the tab for water not working(broken inside) and now the display is not working.
The Repair
The front panel had broken and UI had failed as a result. After replacing both parts, the fridge is operating correctly.
Parts replaced: WR17X13155 (display asm (icid) es); WR55X11144 (pcb asm led icon ui).
