The Repair
Maytag MFI2269FRZ04, S# K94619422 — complaint no ice production, intermittent operation, water leaking at ice maker. Diagnosis: freezer 0°F, fresh food mid-30s, dispenser flow normal confirming water supply, filter, and primary valve. Found ice maker mold teflon liner delaminated and loose, causing cube bonding, stalled harvests, and overflow at the mold. Control board diagnostics per tech sheet W10814258C all passed: freezer fan (112), ice compartment fan (113), damper (121), icebox thermistor (145) normal with compartment sealed, ice maker state (192) On, ice maker relay output (193) verified. Control reset to factory defaults (221). Replaced ice maker assembly. Verified fill tube clear and fill valve holding with no weep. All cooling, airflow, and control circuits confirmed functional; repair complete.
