Ice maker has plastic chips entering ice. It is 18 years old, but all works well otherwise.
The Repair
Unit was producing ice. Temperatures were normal. I found white calcium deposits building up in the dispenser and ice bin. The customer was seeing little pieces of this in their ice. Teflon liner on icemaker was coming loose, water was seeping/wicking out of the icemaker and creating ice buildup under it. Ice dispenser bin was cracked. Replaced icemaker and I am shipping an ice bin directly to the customer. It should arrive in 2 to 3 business days. Good to go.

Dryer vent was approximately 40% obstructed where it went through the wall to the outside of the house. Gas valve coil packs appear to be weak/sporadic. Cleaned vent, replaced gas valve coil packs, removed baffles and cleaned coins out. Reinstalled them. Good to go..
