We recently completed a dual appliance repair in Massillon, Ohio where an Admiral washer kept running through all cycles and wouldn’t stop, while the matching dryer was working but taking much longer than normal to dry clothes. The Problem

For the dryer, the gas valve coil packs had weakened, restricting gas flow and reducing heat output despite the unit still producing some heat.

The Repair

• Parts replaced: 279834-COIL-VALVE for dryer gas valve
• Work performed: Replaced coil packs on dryer gas valve
• Result: Dryer now heats properly and returns to normal drying times

The washer needs a timer replacement, which will be completed in a follow-up visit.
