Most control panel buttons weren’t responding when pressed, making it impossible to set oven temperatures or select cooking modes. The range was essentially unusable despite the heating elements appearing functional.

Diagnosis: The F11 error code on Frigidaire ranges indicates a main control board communication failure. We tested the control panel inputs and confirmed multiple buttons weren’t registering commands. The main control board wasn’t processing signals properly, causing both the error display and the unresponsive controls. This is a classic sign of internal board component failure.

Reported: The customer reported getting an LF error code on any temp except HOT. The washer would not work on any mode other than NORMAL, keeps tripping the GFI on BEDDING MODE, and showed the LF error when cold or warm temp was selected. The unit had functioned normally until about 1 month ago, and the customer had already cleaned inlet filters to ensure no restriction of water flow, which did not resolve the problem.

Diagnosis: The water valve had failed. This single component failure was causing the multiple symptoms – the LF error on cold and warm temperatures, the inability to run other wash modes, and the GFI tripping on bedding mode.

Reported: The customer reported their LG washer was not washing properly and scheduled a diagnostic appointment.

Speed queen dryer (HDG909WF) — North Canton, OH

Reported: The customer reported that the dryer took money but the slide went in and did not come back. This left the unit unable to start cycles, effectively taking customers’ money without providing service.

Diagnosis: We found severe lint blockage from shared vent back-drafting causing heavy internal corrosion from prolonged moisture exposure. The shared venting system was allowing moisture and lint to back up into the unit, creating extensive damage to the belt, idler pulley, and drum rollers.

Repair: Work: Cleaned blower housing and restored operation · Parts: D519214 — dryer maintenance kit (belt, idler pulley, and drum rollers) · Result: Unit now functional; corrosion should improve with normal use

Reported: The customer reported that their Whirlpool dryer won’t start and the coin slide jammed. This was dryer #2 in a side-by-side commercial installation.

Diagnosis: After testing the adjacent right-side dryer, we found it operational. However, both dryers share the same vent system, which was causing airflow interference between the units. This shared venting setup was preventing proper operation of dryer #2.

Repair: Work: Adjacent right-side dryer operational and tested. Shares vent with adjacent dryer causing airflow interference. · Parts: No parts replaced · Result: No mechanical repairs needed at this time. Separate venting recommended.

Reported: The dryer has power and shows all the normal settings and screens. However when you click start, it just clicks and doesn’t start.

Diagnosis: We checked the fuse first and removed the drum. The belt was broken, preventing the drum from turning when the motor attempted to start.

Whirlpool dishwasher (GU2275XTVY3) — North Canton, OH

Reported: The customer reported that lights are blinking on the touch panel. After resetting the power five times, when you touch a button the normal cycle light flashes and if you touch start then it starts flashing touch the cancel drain button and it starts flashing along with the normal button.

Diagnosis: The control panel on this Whirlpool dishwasher had failed internally, causing the erratic flashing and unresponsive touch controls. Multiple button inputs were triggering incorrect responses, indicating the panel’s electronic components were no longer functioning properly.
