Admiral Dryer Repair – North Canton, OH (FAQE7001LW0)

A North Canton, OH customer on Campus Ave SE called Louisville Appliance Repair after their Admiral dryer, model FAQE7001LW0, began making a loud, awful noise that sounded like the motor was spinning with the tumbler. Samuel arrived at the home and diagnosed the issue, replacing the blower assembly to resolve the problem. After the repair, the dryer was back to normal operation.

The Problem

Dryer sounds god awful and sounds like motor is spinning with the tumbler.

The Repair

Replaced the blower housing and blower assembly. Operation is normal. Often the blower wheel will bust off of the shaft and just spin loose when the motor is spinning. This is easy to tell because when you shut the motor off the dryer motor quickly comes to a stop, but you can hear the blower slowly whine to a stop. Also sounds like a rumbling noise.
