Amana Refrigerator Repair – Canton, OH (Arb2517c)

Louisville Appliance Repair recently completed a service call on Oakvale Street Southwest in Canton, OH for a customer whose Amana refrigerator model ARB2517C had stopped running despite having power. The customer suspected a faulty compressor, but when Samuel arrived for the in-home visit, the issue turned out to have a much simpler cause. Customer had accidentally switched the temperature control off in the freezer compartment. Operation is normal. The thermostat to control refrigerator operation is in the freezer compartment on the ceiling. It can be easy to bump it with a bag of ice or something in the top drawer. This would spin the knob and turn the refrigerator off, resulting in a no cool situation.
