Frigidaire Refrigerator Repair (Model FRS26RLECS0) – Salem, OH

Louisville Appliance Repair made a service visit to a customer on Rea Drive in Salem, OH, where a Frigidaire refrigerator (model FRS26RLECS0) was leaking water from a hose in the back during ice and water use. Samuel found that a plastic line had broken off inside the filter connection, removed the old piece, and reassembled the connection to stop the leak. The line was noted to be dry rotted, and the customer was quoted a price for a replacement line.

The Problem

When using water and ice there is a leak. It’s a hose in the back that I can’t reach to fix.

The Repair

Plastic line to filter was broke off in connection,got old piece out of connector and put back together. Line is a dry rotted, could easily break and leak again and cause water damage.Quoted new line for 90.00. Will let us know if he wants replaced.
