A Samsung dryer at a residence on High St SW in Carrollton, OH needed a belt and related components replaced, and the customer had already sourced the parts ahead of the visit. Samuel arrived as scheduled and installed the customer-supplied belt, inspecting the dryer for any underlying causes of the failure. The dryer was left operating correctly after the service call.
The Problem
Need new belt, tensioner pulley, and drum idler pulleys replaced. Have all brand new parts in hand. I’m out of state and cannot get to it, fiance is going to kill me if it doesn’t get done soon! 🤣
The Repair
Replaced the belt with one the customer supplied. Also inspected the dryer for possible causes of belt failure. Dryer appears to be operating correctly. However the belt previously used was a Frigidaire dryer belt and definitely to long.
