Samuel visited the address and found the user interface dead, though the unit was still cooling and freezing normally. After diagnosing the issue and replacing the user interface, all buttons became responsive and the display lit up properly, returning the refrigerator to full operation.

User interface on front is dead. It has five and 12 V DC respectively to it. Replaced user interface. Good to go. All buttons, responsive and displayed is lit properly.
