Frigidaire Refrigerator Repair – Louisville, OH (FFTR2045VS6)

On a service call to East Broad Street in Louisville, OH, Samuel found a failed defrost timer causing a two-year-old Frigidaire refrigerator to run sporadically, leaving frost in the freezer and eventually allowing the ice to melt. Replacing the timer got the unit operating correctly again.

The Problem

We have a Frigidaire refrigerator. We bought it brand new about 2 years ago. Came down this morning and noticed there was frost in the freezer. I cleaned the seals to make sure it was getting a good seal. Checked it a few hours later and noticed the ice was melted. I don’t think the condenser or fan is kicking on.

The Repair

Found defrost timer had failed. Unit operating sporadically when timer rotating. Replaced timer. Good to go.
