On a service call to a home on Greenfield Avenue Southwest in Canton, OH, Samuel found a Frigidaire refrigerator with a freezer that was running cold but frosting over while the fresh food section had lost cooling entirely. Freezer is cooling fine but it’s frosting up. Fresh food is not cooling at all.
The Repair
Unit not defrosting. There’s 120 V coming from the defrost timer but the defrost circuit test open. Customer is going to consider the cost of the repair and look at new unit and let me know.
