Diagnosed loss of L1 supply leg: receptacle has neutral and L2 only, L1 dead, and cycling the breaker did not restore it; L1 absent at the dryer terminal block, confirming the loss is upstream of the machine. Residual 123–124V readings on timer and push-to-start wiring are L2 backfeed through high-impedance loads and collapse under load. Door switch, push-to-start, and timer motor verified functional; belt intact. No fault found in the dryer and no parts required. Customer advised to have an electrician repair the branch circuit, or contact the utility if other household circuits are affected. Unit should operate normally once L1 is restored; 30-day service call guarantee applies.
