Amana Refrigerator Repair – Louisville, OH (ABB1921BRM00)

On a service call to Louisville, OH, Samuel Willhite found an Amana refrigerator with two problems: shelves that couldn’t be reinstalled after cleaning due to a broken bracket, and water pooling at the bottom of the unit from a blocked defrost drain. Both issues were resolved in a single visit.

The Problem

After cleaning i can’t get 2 top shelves back in. I think the part is broken that you slide the shelves into. Also water keeps running out bottom.

The Repair

Defrost drain plug/obstructed. Cleared drain, installed updated defrost drain tube. Replaced broken shelf bracket and reassembled other shelves. Good to go.
