LG Dryer Repair – North Canton, OH (DLE7400WE)

Samuel responded to a service call on Lake O’Springs Avenue Northwest in North Canton, OH, where an LG dryer had stopped producing heat after sparking at the terminal block. The connection had overheated and melted the block, and there was concern about heat damage deeper in the wiring. Samuel replaced the damaged components, inspected the rest of the harness, and cleared lint from the cabinet before confirming the unit was back in safe working order.

The Problem

Terminal block melted, no heat; possible internal wiring heat damage; dryer sparked when wiring was jostled

The Repair

Connection loose and damaged at terminal block. Replaced power cord and terminal block kit. Inspected rest of harness. Cleaned lint from inside cabinet. All good.
