Repair record › Whirlpool refrigerators
We've repaired 34 Whirlpool refrigerators for this problem between June 2019 and September 2026. This is what was actually wrong, counted from our own job records.
Of the 34 Whirlpool refrigerators we've repaired for "leaking", the most common cause was: defrost drain clogged (18 jobs, 53%), followed by defrost drain frozen (4) and ice maker failed (3). The parts we replaced most often were defrost drain heater probe, defrost drain tube, ice maker.
Seen once each: condenser fan failed, water inlet valve failed, drain pan cracked, ice maker supply line leaking, defrost drain tube crushed.
