Repair record › Whirlpool washers
We've repaired 32 Whirlpool washers for this problem between February 2019 and November 2021. This is what was actually wrong, counted from our own job records.
Of the 32 Whirlpool washers we've repaired for "not draining", the most common cause was: lid switch failed (8 jobs, 25%), followed by drain pump failed (8) and drain pump blocked by debris (5). The parts we replaced most often were lid switch, drain pump, main control board.
Seen once each: no fault found, drain hose kinked.
One repair can replace more than one part, so these add up to more than the number of jobs.
Most of these jobs showed no code at all; the customer just noticed the problem.
