Repair record › Whirlpool washers
We've repaired 22 Whirlpool washers for this problem between February 2019 and July 2026. This is what was actually wrong, counted from our own job records.
Of the 22 Whirlpool washers we've repaired for "leaking", the most common cause was: water inlet valve failed (5 jobs, 23%), followed by tub bearings worn out (4) and drain pump failed (2). The parts we replaced most often were water inlet valve, drain pump, agitator dogs.
Seen once each: bent drum, fill hoses leaking, main control board failed, drain hose installed incorrectly, outer tub rusted through.
One repair can replace more than one part, so these add up to more than the number of jobs.
