We have done about 5 loads and the the dryer sounds a bit off. It seems to be drying the clothes but doesn’t sound right. Do you mind coming out to check it out

Found idler pulley and belt out of alignment. Realigned, good to go.

Very loud noise during spin cycle.

Customer’s complaint of loud noise during spin was traced to a grunting noise from the right rear suspension rod. Connected SmartHQ Service and found the model/serial were not written to the main control, indicating a prior control replacement, so I wrote the model/serial to the control. Reviewed cycle history: recent cycles completed with no fault-ended cycles, max spin speeds of 845–848 RPM against an 840 RPM target, one OOB retry across the last five cycles, and supply voltage of about 116–117 VAC. Agitate test showed mode shift to agitate with basket speed confirmed on the hall sensor. Greased all suspension rod hangers and bottom bushings, which eliminated the noise. Service-mode spin test confirmed mode shift to spin and lid lock, and the unit reached all three spin speeds (tracking 140 and 450 RPM targets) with no abnormal noise. Unit is operating normally.

not agitating again (recurring issue)

Unit came back with the same spin-good/agitate-dead complaint on a repeat trip, throwing F7E1 (tachometer missing/wrong signal), F7E6 (motor circuit open), F0E3 (overload), and F0E5 (off balance) — confirmed fault history had been cleared on the prior visit so these were freshly generated, not carryover. Pulled the splutch and found it visibly bad, confirming the drive engagement failure as the cause rather than the motor, actuator, or control — motor windings, capacitor, and shift actuator weren’t tested this trip since the splutch was conclusive on sight. Ordered replacement part, returning Thursday to install and verify full cycle operation before closing out.

Replaced cam assembly. While testing, I realized the shifter was operating in reverse. Agitator and spin basket were locked together in wash and they were not locked together in spin which is what was causing the cam to fail. Replaced shift actuator as well. Unit successfully passed test. Good to go.

Dryer runs but produces no heat — suspected heating element; husband inspected element, no visible burn or break

High limit thermal fuse tripped. Replaced thermal fuse and cycling thermostat. Good to go.

Drum roller repair needed; customer has done this repair before but is no longer able to do it themselves.

Right rear roller completely wallowed out. Used repair kit. Replaced both rear rollers, idler pulley, belt. Good to go.
