Appliance repair in Akron, Ohio

I’m Sam, based in Louisville. Akron sits just northwest of me in Summit County, out toward the edge of the area I cover — and I still make that run regularly, often same day or the next.

Local help across Akron and Summit County

Akron is the larger city just northwest of my home base in Louisville, over in Summit County. It’s toward the outer edge of my roughly 25-mile radius, but it’s a trip I make often — I’m running through Green, New Franklin, and that side of the area most weeks. If your refrigerator, washer, or range quits on you, I can usually line up a same-day or next-day visit.

When you reach out, you’re talking to me, not a call center. I’ll ask a few questions about what the appliance is doing, give you an honest read on whether it’s worth fixing, and set up a time that actually works for you. Most of the time I finish the repair on the first visit.

I bring OEM parts, explain what I find in plain terms, and back every completed repair with my own six-month labor warranty. If a fix isn’t worth it, I’ll tell you straight — the best appliance is usually the one already in your home. Text or call me anytime at (330) 693-9163.

What I fix

Refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, microwaves, ice makers, and garbage disposals — if it’s a major home appliance, chances are I work on it. I’ve serviced Samsung and LG since 2018, back when a lot of shops wouldn’t touch them.

Meet the person doing the work

I’ve been repairing appliances since 2018, and I still handle every Akron job myself — the first message, the diagnosis, and the repair. No handoffs, no rotating crew of techs.

I carry EPA 608, R-600a sealed-system, Lokring, and M-CAP master certifications, so I can work on the sealed refrigeration and modern controls a lot of shops send back. Same honest answer every time: I’ll tell you what I’d do if it were my own appliance.
