Refrigerator repair in Louisville, Ohio & Stark County

A refrigerator that quits is a same-week problem. Text me the details and I’ll get you on the schedule.

Refrigerator problems I fix

Most refrigerator calls come down to one part or one system, not a dead unit. Here’s what I see most often:

  • Not cooling, or running too warm
  • Freezer not freezing
  • Ice maker not making ice
  • Water dispenser not working
  • Leaking water
  • Frost building up inside
  • Loud or noisy operation
  • Running constantly and never shutting off
  • Warm spots in an otherwise cold fridge

I work on side-by-side, French-door, top-freezer, bottom-freezer, and built-in refrigerators. I’ve specialized in Samsung and LG since 2018, which matters because so many refrigerators in Stark County homes are one of those two brands.

What to expect

I start by diagnosing the actual cause, not guessing at parts. When I know what’s wrong, I explain it to you in plain terms — what failed, why, and what it takes to fix it.

Then I give you an honest call on repair or replace. A good refrigerator is usually worth fixing, and a single part often beats buying a whole new unit. But if it isn’t worth fixing, I’ll tell you that too.

Most repairs are done in one visit. Cooling, frost, and ice-maker problems often trace back to the sealed system, and I carry R-600a sealed-system training plus EPA 608 certification for that work. I use OEM parts, and completed repairs are backed by my own 6-month labor warranty.
