Kenmore Refrigerator Repair – Louisville, OH (795.73167.610)

Samuel handled a refrigerator repair on Monter Ave in Louisville, OH where a Kenmore side-by-side was running but not cooling and the freezer had completely stopped freezing. The compressor had failed and was not pumping at all. Samuel replaced the compressor, leak checked the system, pulled it down to vacuum, and recharged it with refrigerant to restore normal operation.

The Repair

Compressor failed. Unit not pumping at all. Previous technician tried charging unit. Replaced compressor, removed temporary tap. Leak checked OK. Unit successfully pulled down to 500 µm and did not move back up past that. Charged with 5.2 ounces of refrigerant. Pressures look good. Please give it 24 hours before you expect it to be back to normal operation/ice production.
