The Repair

Pulled SmartHQ fault and cycle history: F3 (locked rotor monitor) active, F62 (inverter power and door lock monitor) and F38 (vent damper) inactive, with several cycles ending in fault during spin and a quick wash that shut off mid-cycle with no code. Previously replaced the main board, but spin continued to fail. Spin test showed the drum turning about 5 seconds and then stopping, with Basket Speed reading 0 RPM against a 100 RPM target. Motor phase resistance checked good. Drum turns freely and the harness was inspected with no chafing. F3 was stored again before the inverter swap. Replaced the inverter board and the motor under warranty. After the repair, agitate runs well in both directions, the spin test reaches and holds the 800 RPM target, and the vent damper passed its open and close test. Cleared all codes and none returned. Ran a full wash and spin cycle, verified RPM in both wash and spin, and the spin ran correctly throughout.
