Whirlpool Washer Repair – Alliance, OH (WTW4816FW2)

A Whirlpool washer at a home on Parkway Blvd in Alliance, OH had completely lost power, showing no indicator lights even though the outlet tested fine. Samuel visited the home and found the control board had failed and was not responding despite receiving proper voltage. The customer decided to replace the unit, and no charge was applied for the service call.

The Problem

There is no power. No indicator lights.
There is power at the outlet, but no power indicated at the washer. Not sure if it is possibly a fuse or a board?
Another repair service said it was the wires reversed in the outlet itself. This has been repaired. Washer worked for a couple of weeks and then it is down again and with same issue of no power. We tried other outlets and still no power indicated.

The Repair

The Control Board on the washing machine had failed. It had 120 volts to it, but was not responsive at all. Customer will replace unit. No charge for service call.
