Kenmore Refrigerator Repair (Model 253.70013810) – East Canton, OH

Louisville Appliance Repair recently completed an in-home service call on Nassau Street in East Canton, OH for a Kenmore refrigerator, model 253.70013810, that was failing to cool in the fresh food compartment and building up frost. Samuel visited the customer’s home and defrosted the evaporator coils to address the issue. No parts were needed for this visit, though the customer was advised to monitor the unit going forward.

The Problem

Fridge is not cooling in the fresh food compartment. It is creating Frost, so probably a circulation issue or defrost issue. Customer wants a call ahead when they’re on the way there on a landline. This is a Frigidaire built Kenmore dual evaporator.

The Repair

Defrosted evaporator coil’s in the refrigerator. This unit does not have a defrost function for the fresh food evaporator. If it continues to be an issue you would be looking at a new control board most likely. It would be best to replace the refrigerator.
