Louisville Appliance Repair recently completed a service call on Plum Street Northeast in Louisville, Ohio, where a Whirlpool gas dryer, model WGD8000DW1, was producing a loud squealing and squeaking noise along with a gas smell when the gas supply was turned on. Samuel visited the home and found that a support pulley needed to be replaced. After installing the new part, the dryer was back in working order.

When the gas is turned off the dryer is quiet but when the gas is turned on I smell gas and the dryer makes a loud squealing/squeaking noise
