Whirlpool Washer; Dryer Repair – Louisville, OH (DRYER)

Samuel visited a customer on North Chapel Street in Louisville, Ohio to service several Whirlpool washers and dryers reporting a range of issues, including a suspected belt problem, a possible door switch fault, a sticking coin mechanism, and intermittent no-heat complaints on two units. After inspecting each appliance on-site, he identified the specific causes, including a worn drum pulley, an out-of-adjustment switch, a coin-jammed mechanism, and control board issues on the no-heat dryers. The visit resulted in a clear picture of what each unit needed to get back up and running.

The Problem

Dryer 10 I think needs belt (hanging on wall)
Dryer 15 might need a door switch and they are in drawer
Top load 3 coin slide is sticking I’m not sure if it’s engaging the start lever. Dryer 4 and 6 intermittent no heat could you please put Gemline igniters in them.

The Repair

Dryer 10 needs drum pulley. See pic. Dryer 15 switch was out of adjustment. Drum support is broken or bearings are loose. I’m leaning towards drum support. It’s catching the door switch and killing the motor. I left it unplugged.
Top load 3 Coin mech was jammed with coins. How old is it? If it continues to be an issue I would recommend checking to see if it is covered under warranty. It is installed correctly.
Dryer 4 and 6. 4 needs the brain replaced. 6 has a new brain and valve.
