Samsung Washer Repair – Canton, OH (WF45N5300AV/US)

Louisville Appliance Repair recently completed a service call in Canton, OH, on Windgate Ave NE, for a Samsung WF45N5300AV/US washer the customer believed was failing to drain and showing an SC error code. Samuel inspected the unit at the customer’s home and found the actual error code was SD, with the washer draining but presenting a more serious issue, as the bearings were failing and the basket was loose in the outer tub. The required back half of the outer tub is no longer available, making a full repair impossible.

The Problem

Samsung VRT Plus washer not draining; error code SC. Cycle reaches the drain and stops. Customer reports the drain filter underneath won’t pull out. Customer will text photos of the unit and model-number tag (behind the door).

The Repair

Looks like error code was actually SD. Unit is draining but bearings are going out. Basket is loose in outer tub and bearings are loud in spin. Would need back half of outer tub which is no longer available.
