This Week at Louisville Appliance Repair — 12 Repairs, 8 Towns, 392 Verified Reviews

If you’ve had me out to your house, or you’re checking us out for the first time — thanks. A quick note from the truck on what this past week looked like, what folks have been saying, and where I’ve been spending my time.

What we ran this week

Twelve repairs across eight towns. The brand mix was the kind of variety you’d expect in this area: Speed Queen led the way with three (two washers and a dryer), Whirlpool and Frigidaire each at two, then Maytag, GE, Bosch, and KitchenAid chipping in single jobs. A run of Speed Queen calls in the same week is partly the strong Alliance Laundry footprint we have around here, and partly the time of year.

Refrigerators and dryers tied for the top appliance with four each, washers came in at three, and one Whirlpool dishwasher in Uniontown rounded the week out. A handful of the refrigerator calls involved sealed-system work — refrigerant, vacuum, recharge — the kind of repair most independent shops in this area can’t open and finish. Sealed-system certification is the difference between “looks like you need a new fridge” and “this is a few-hundred-dollar repair and you’ve got another five to eight years on it.”

Where we were

The week reached from Louisville and North Canton across to Uniontown, plus a few longer trips — Paris OH for a Maytag washer, Doylestown for a Speed Queen dryer, and Homeworth twice for back-to-back Speed Queen jobs. Most of the work stays close to home in our standard Stark County service area:

  • Louisville
  • Canton
  • North Canton
  • Massillon
  • East Canton
  • Hartville
  • Uniontown
  • Alliance

That’s the heart of the service area. Same-day or next-day appointments whenever possible, parts on the truck, one visit when the part is common.

What folks have been saying

The verified review count just ticked over to 392 reviews across Google and the major platforms, averaging 4.9 stars. I read every one. The ones I appreciate most are when someone mentions I told them straight that a repair wasn’t worth doing — that’s the moment most appliance customers don’t expect, and it’s the moment that earns trust for the next time.

If you’ve worked with us recently and haven’t dropped a review yet, it’s the single most useful thing you can do to help other neighbors in Louisville, Canton, North Canton, Massillon, East Canton, Hartville, Uniontown, and Alliance find me when their appliance quits.

A quick reminder of who we are

Louisville Appliance Repair is owner-operated by me, Sam Willhite — same technician on every job, no dispatcher, no call center between you and me. Factory-authorized for Bosch, Thermador, GE, and Speed Queen. M-CAP master certified. EPA 608 + R-600a sealed-system certified. Lokring certified. Samsung and LG specialist since 2018.

Repair-first philosophy: the best appliance is usually the one already in your home. When that’s not true, I’ll tell you straight before any parts are ordered.

Stay in the loop

If you’d like to see what we run between blog posts — pictures from the truck, jobs in progress, and the occasional shop dog — follow along on Facebook at facebook.com/louisville.oh.appliance.repair. While you’re here, the new Local Partners page is up too — sixteen local home-service businesses I personally trust for the work outside my lane.

If you need an appliance fixed, call (330) 693-9163 or schedule online. Same-day or next-day appointments whenever possible.

Bosch, Thermador, GE & Speed Queen factory authorized.
