Samuel made a service call to a home on Hoover Ave NW in Uniontown, OH to diagnose a GE front load washer that was filling and draining but leaving every load soaking wet. The inspection turned up foreign objects in the drain pump trap and a failing drum support with bearings that are no longer available, leaving replacement as the only path forward.
The Problem
Front load washer fills with water but drum will not spin or agitate; pumps water out but load comes out soaking wet; no error codes reported
The Repair
Drain pump making noise. I found several screws and drillbits in the drain pump Coyne trap. Removing them did not resolve the issue. The drain pump will need to be replaced. ? Also the drum support is failing. Drum support and bearings no longer available. Customer to replace unit.
