The Repair

Second-opinion dispatch following prior compressor diagnosis. SmartHQ Service diagnostics: compressor cycling normally, FZ evap reaching -17°F to -21°F, FF 33°F, FZ -3°F, all compartments at setpoint. Exercised 3/4-way valve through all positions with correct feedback. No active faults; inactive one-time codes (F316, F311, F304) document a transient warm-up ~June 29 that self-resolved, not reproducible on site. Sealed system not opened. Compressor replacement not warranted; unused parts left with customer. Applied firmware updates including icemaker fix; ice production recovered. Unit at spec. Recurrence of F316/F304 would indicate intermittent 3/4-way valve.
