Whirlpool Dryer Repair – Minerva, OH (LEQ8857HQ0)

Samuel visited a home on Stump Road in Minerva, OH where a Whirlpool dryer had stopped spinning while still producing heat. The drum belt was confirmed broken on arrival, and Samuel completed the repair the same visit.

The Problem

Dryer drum not spinning — customer suspects broken drum belt; heat is working

The Repair

Found belt broken. Replaced belt, two support rollers and idler pulley using the whirlpool dryer maintenance kit. Swept lint from dryer cabinet inside. I was unable to completely fasten the dryer vent. The vent from the back of the dryer to the outside is a plastic slinky and is not up to code. It should be replaced ASAP.
