Oven not heating to correct temperature; customer suspects thermostat issue

Found bake igniter pulling 2.7 A instead of the specified 3.2 to 3.6. Replaced baking igniter, oven lit in approximately 27 seconds. Good to go.

Refrigerator not cooling — CFE error code, sides hot, fan not blowing

Found condenser fan motor failed. Replaced condenser fan motor, tested good. Good to go.

Lid not locking

Performed diagnostic service at customer’s home. Unit had a previously installed replacement control board (installed by an outside company at customer’s cost) that was not resolving her complaint. In service mode, cleared stored fault codes and retested — F6E3 (ACU cannot hear DMS) recurred on the replacement board. Swapped in the original control board and retested; F6E3 did not return, isolating the fault to the replacement board rather than the DMS or harness. Ran service diagnostics on the original board — cold valve, hot valve, and drain all tested normal. Diagnostics could not progress past the lid lock test: lid lock assembly found physically damaged, with the lid switch also failing in test mode. Ordered replacement lid lock latch assembly to complete the repair. Before the part could be installed, Platinum Factory Services returned to the home unannounced and completed a repair; customer confirmed the unit is now working but was not informed of which parts were replaced. No further action taken by Louisville Appliance Repair.

Not recognizing when water is sufficient and continues to fill the basin

Washing machine drain hose was draining into the sump on the floor. This was causing the washing machine to siphon while it was filling. Customer recently moved into home. There was a drain hose extension fastened into the drain hose above the washing machine. Connected drain there and make sure it was draining properly. For best results long-term, customer should likely have a plumber install a standpipe to the sump behind the washing machine.
