LG Dishwasher Repair – Canal Fulton, OH (LDFN454HT)

Samuel stopped by a home on Diamondback Ave. in Canal Fulton to look into a minor leak coming from the bottom of an LG dishwasher (model LDFN454HT). The source turned out to be a disassembled lower spray arm misdirecting water straight at the door seal. Reassembling the spray arm cleared the problem without any parts needed.

The Problem

The Repair

Complaint: minor leak at the bottom front of the dishwasher. Found the lower spray arm disassembled — one of the rotating arms had come off the spray arm body. In that condition the arm sprays water under high pressure straight at the lower door seal, forcing water out from under the door. Reassembled the lower spray arm and verified it is seated and rotating properly with normal spray pattern. No parts needed. Customer will run it and monitor. If the leak continues, the next step would be replacing the lower door seal (packing); a repair quote will be provided at that time.
