Repair record › GE washers
We've repaired 16 GE washers for this problem between June 2019 and August 2026. This is what was actually wrong, counted from our own job records.
Of the 16 GE washers we've repaired for "not draining", the most common cause was: drain pump failed (7 jobs, 44%), followed by debris blocking drain pump (2). The parts we replaced most often were drain pump, main control board, dryer door switch.
Seen once each: foreign object in lid lock, drain pump filter clogged, main control board failed, tub bearings failed, control needed reset, drain hose frozen, transmission failed.
One repair can replace more than one part, so these add up to more than the number of jobs.
Most of these jobs showed no code at all; the customer just noticed the problem.
