Kenmore Range Repair – North Canton, OH (790.74033311)

On a service call to North Canton, OH, Samuel Willhite found a Kenmore range that wouldn’t light after a grease spill. The bake igniter was drawing only 2.6 amps, well below the 3.2–3.6 amps needed to open the gas valve. A replacement igniter got the oven lighting reliably again.

Bake igniter was weak. Pulling 2.6 amps instead of the required 3.2-3.6. Replaced igniter. Good to go. Lit in 45-50 seconds.
