Repair record › Whirlpool washers
We've repaired 16 Whirlpool washers for this problem between July 2019 and July 2026. This is what was actually wrong, counted from our own job records.
Of the 16 Whirlpool washers we've repaired for "not filling", the most common cause was: water inlet valve failed (7 jobs, 44%). The parts we replaced most often were water inlet valve, inlet screen, dryer belt.
Seen once each: inlet screen clogged, inlet thermistor failed, lid switch failed, water level sensor failed, flow sensor failed, no fault found, dispenser inlet broken, door switch failed, temperature selector switch failed.
One repair can replace more than one part, so these add up to more than the number of jobs.
Most of these jobs showed no code at all; the customer just noticed the problem.
Replaced inlet valve and screen, added supply screens and flushed lines.
