The Problem

Diagnosis

Upon inspection, we found washer #22 had no drain due to a broken spring on the drain valve. Dryer #42’s control board showed an upper motor relay with signs of overheating. Coin slides on units #38/39 and W5 needed cleaning. Dryer #46 had lint buildup on the thermostat, and dryer D56 had a stuck upper motor relay.

The Repair

• Parts replaced: Cannibalized drain valve from washer #25 to repair washer #22
• Work performed: Removed mounting bolts and hardware on washers #25 & 26, removed and installed control board from dryer 42, cleaned coin slides on multiple units, cleaned lint from dryer #46 thermostat, removed board from D56
• Result: Dryer #46 appears to be cycling correctly, W5 now accepts quarters, washer #22 drains properly
