How does the diagnostic fee work?
We charge a diagnostic fee to come out, assess the appliance, and give you a firm repair quote. That fee applies toward the total repair price if you proceed — so it is not a cost on top of the repair. If you decide not to repair, you pay only the diagnostic fee.
My freezer stopped working — should I defrost it before you come?
No — do not defrost before we arrive. Defrosting can temporarily clear the symptom and make it harder to identify the underlying cause. Leave the appliance in its current state. The same applies to ice maker failures.
