Samuel visited the home on Mapleton Street Southeast and diagnosed a failed thermal fuse, replacing it with part WP3392519. After the repair, the dryer was operating and cycling properly.

The thermal fuse on the dryer had failed. Sometimes this is caused from an obstructed vent, but often it is just something that goes bad after time. It’s located in the lower rear part of the back compartment on the dryer. After replacing the fuse with the new one, the dryer is operating and cycling properly. It’s good to consider installing a new heating element at the same time.
