We completed a range repair on Market Ave N in Canton, OH for a GE electric coil-top range with two large burners not heating. Our diagnosis revealed a shorted infinite switch and broken burner socket that required replacement.

The Problem

The customer reported their electric coil-top range with two large burners (front & rear) not heating. Both the front and rear large burners had stopped working completely.

Diagnosis

We found RF Infinite switch pilot shorted. Additionally, the LR burner socket was broken and needed replacement along with its harness.

The Repair

• Parts replaced: wb17t10006 — terminal block, GEWB24T10025 — SWITCH INFIN 8″
• Work performed: Replaced switch. Replaced harness and socket.
• Result: Good to go.
