On a service call to Louisville, OH, Samuel found a Whirlpool dishwasher that had stopped receiving water. The culprit turned out to be a small but critical rocker piece between the float and float switch that had been removed and set aside. Once it was reinstalled, the unit was back to washing, draining, and heating normally.

I found the Rocker piece from between the float to the float switch missing. Customer had removed it and set it on the counter. After reinstalling it, I verified proper water flow. Unit is washing, draining and heating. Good to go.
