Maytag Washer Repair – SALEM, OH (MHWZ600TW01)

Louisville Appliance Repair recently visited a customer on West 10 St in Salem, OH, to address a Maytag washer that would not start. Samuel found a stored error code pointing to repeated door lock failures, cleared the code, and ran the unit through test mode with all functions performing normally. No parts were needed at this time, though a door lock assembly replacement may be required if the issue returns.

The Problem

My washer wil not start. I need to schedule service whenever you can come repair it. You have already repaired the dryer previously.

The Repair

Unit had a stored error code of F22. This means it has tried 6 times to lock the door unsuccessfully. I cleared the code and was unable to replicate the lock/unlock error. In the test mode, all functions test normal. If it occurs again, we’ll likely need to replace the door lock assembly ($120.99).
