Louisville Appliance Repair recently completed a service call on Waugh St in Alliance, OH for a Samsung refrigerator, model RS27T5200SR/AA-06, that was not cooling well in either compartment, with the upper portion of the freezer running warm while the lower section remained cold. Samuel diagnosed a faulty fan motor based on the voltage reading from the board and replaced both the fan motor and the control board under warranty. The customer was asked to monitor the unit and report back on its operation.
The Problem
Not cooling well either compartment. Warm in upper half of freezer and cold in lower.
The Repair
2.5 V DC from board on fan circuit. Per diagnostics, faulty fan. Replaced fan motor and replaced control board under warranty. Customer to advise on operation.
Parts replaced: DA94-06781R (control); DA31-00342A (evap fan motor).
